Naps

Today has not been a napping day!! After I fed Brenna, she wanted to play. So we played. Then she wanted to watch the TV. So she watched the TV, while I tried to get things done. She started to get fussy, which means she's tired. I picked her up, put her binky in her mouth and proceeded to rock her to sleep. I was watching a movie and thought Brenna was asleep, and I looked down to find this.....

Yeah right mom. I couldn't get mad though, because the entire time I sat watching my movie, Brenna laid there looking at me! It melts my heart. An HOUR later, here she is..and of course she only slept for a little while cause she got hungry.

7 things I love today....

1. I LOVE my husband!! As I sit here blogging away, he is hard at work. I get to be a stay at home mommy because of him, and he'll do anything it takes to keep it that way. He is patient, understanding and he loves me unconditionally. I really don't deserve him. I love you so much buddy.

2. I LOVE being a mom. It's the hardest job I've ever had, but I love it. I love the way Brenna responds to my voice, I love the that she looks like her daddy, and I love that she is mine.

3. I LOVE that my fridge is full. I love buying groceries and stocking up on good food.

4. I LOVE that I have dinner cooking in the crockpot today! Yay for dinner! Pulled pork sandwiches...mmmm

5. I LOVE my family. My 2 sisters and my mom are my best friends and I'm glad that we have eachother. We have so much fun, and I am so excited for next Friday when we are all together again!!

6. I LOVE modern technology. My cell phone especially. I just recently got my cell phone after never having one! That's right, this is my first one. I love that I can text Ross and my sisters!!

7. I LOVE the t.v.and dvd's. So bad, I know, but when you're taking care of a baby, what better way to pass the time than to sit and watch some good shows. My friend Megan brought over the complete series of Gilmore Girls when Brenna was born, and I have been addicted!! Even though I know how everything ends up, I still love watching them!

1 month old!

Our beautiful baby girl will be one month old tomorrow! Where does the time go? I still can't believe that she is ours, but then I look at her sweet face and see her daddy! She is such a sweet baby! She's eating well, sleeping well (somedays are better than others), smiling more and keeping her eyes open longer. We love having her in our home. Here's some random pictures of Brenna doing what she does best.....

Except in this picture. After I feed her, I hand her to Ross, and she is always fussy after feedings. Poor guy gets the fussy side, but he handles her so well.

Nothing to do

It's a Friday night and we are sitting home considering what to do. So I thought that I would blog. So here are some more random pictures of our baby girl. She went to the drs and she now weighs 9lbs 3oz and is still 21 inches long! She's getting so big....
