picture box

My sister Annie is in charge of her super Saturday for Relief Society and she saw this picture box that her friend had made and wanted to learn how to make it. So lastnight we learned how. It wasn't too difficult, just measuring and cutting the papers and pictures, but I think it would be a lot easier the second time!

Here is what the box looks like from the outside.

I took the lid off and took a pic directly over it.
Now the box is unfolding...
All the way unfolded.
Sory, the pictures don't do it justice!

Next time I'll use different paper and a lot more embellishments! I think this is such a great idea for Grandparents and Christmas gifts. Thanks Ann, for having me come. Can't wait to attend your Super Saturday to do another one :)

just call me suzie homemaker

So last week I went a little crazy and decided to make my own pizza and ice cream. I've made pizza before and we really liked it, so I thought I'd try it again! It wasn't too difficult (I always get so nervous that my dough won't rise) but it turned out great. Thanks to my friend Elizabeth for the dough recipe. Here is a before picture of the pizza.

And an after! Yummy.
And here is my raspberry ice cream. I wasn't able to make my ward's ice cream churn off, but I still wanted to make some, so I did. Don't mind that I was eating this ice cream at 10pm!

brenna

Everyday I fall more and more in love with this little girl! She is just so fun right now. She is very vocal and her personality is really coming out! I get excited when I hear her waking up from her naps, cause when I go in to get her she has a HUGE smile on her face. It's just amazing that I can love her SO much.
She still loves her tongue.

7 months

Time is just flying by right along with summer!! We now have a 7 month old in our home. I can't believe how big she's getting. I put some piggies in her hair and now she looks like a toddler.

Brenna loves to play Pat-a-cake.
She loves pears

No teeth yet!

Tries to talk
I put some watermelon in this feeder ring, she really liked it then. Now she won't eat anything out of it!
She is still really fiesty and it makes me nervous! How we love our baby girl.

sunday nights

We're lucky enough to live close to both of our families, so usually every Sunday we don't have to worry about making dinner! Yesterday we were out at my parents and we went outside to enjoy the fresh air. We played duck duck goose and blew some bubbles! It was a fun night.

Here is Brenna, Hallie, and Cole
Brenna and Coley. They're 4 months apart.

And Hallie blowing the bubbles for the babies! Love this girl!!
We miss the Arbuckle's!!!

I leave for one minute....

Brenna's really good at holding her bottle now, so I usually just leave her to drink her bottle on the floor so I can get things done. Lately, she is not interested in that last ounce and likes to shake the bottle. Here are the results......

Silly girl.

swimming

Last week Brenna and I went swimming with some of our friends over at Liberty Park. Our girls are all about the same age so that makes it fun!
Brenna didn't take her nap so if you look real closely you can see her red, tired eyes.

Brenna and Jade. Jade is 6 weeks older, but I think Brenna is bigger :)
The girls at the end of swimming. Emery, Jade and Brenna. Can you tell it's nap time?
Next time we'll plan better and go after nap time!
