a little taste.....

...of what we've been up to at our new/old house. We added some carpet in the bedrooms.....
This is the master bedroom (HA! Nothing master about it....)

And this is going to be Brenna's room. Yes, it's grey. I have plans, people.
Big ones.

And you remember this picture from before. How could you forget the mutant tree on the left hand side?!

And after....

Those suckers were BIG. Thanks to Ben and my mom for helping take those out. I've been so busy worrying about the inside of my house, that weeds had taken over the outside. Yikes.

And my backyard......some of it...

And this 'big' little girl is now laying on her "big girl bed." Right now it's just her crib mattress on the floor, but no chance of her rolling off. She's done pretty well in it.....

I will try and get up some more pics of the house when I get them. I'm trying to clean, pack, decorate, and take care of my crazy 2 year old. It's hard. :)

her best friend....

Me: Brenna, who's your best friend?

Brenna: Daddy.

So sweet. Happy Father's Day to my daughter's best friend (and mine!).....her daddy! You're the best and we love you!! Also to my dad....miss you more than I ever could imagine. Thanks for being a great example of what a dad should be. Love you.

my baby girl.....

I still call Brenna my baby girl, cause she always will be my baby. But if she hears me say that she'll say "NO Momma, I not baby, I big girl!" That's right kid, you are a big girl.

Seems like these things happen overnight. One morning she woke up and she could talk! I wish I could slow it down sometimes.....

Brenna still has her sassiness and her personality. She doesn't like strangers looking at her, so if you do look at her she'll give you a scowl.

She still loves her deedee (her blankie), but deedee has seen better days. I'm afraid deedee is going to be leaving us soon.....:)

The other day she went peepee in the big potty 4 TIMES!! She hasn't done it since....

She still sleeps in her crib, but soon we'll transition her to a big girl bed. Soon. Maybe.

She is starting to give me loves on her own, which I love! When she hugs you she'll pat you on the back.

She remembers everything you tell her. Right now she is singing the song from Dora.

We love this girl so much. What a little firecracker we have on our hands!

Love you my BIG 'baby' girl!

more of our trip....

We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center while we were there. We got there a little later, so we rushed through some of the things they had, and it was raining. Hard. So every now and then we would have to find a place to keep us dry :) But overall, we had a great time there.

On the boat ride....

They asked a newly married couple and an older married couple to come up and dance on stage. So Dan and Cheryl got up there.....so cute.

learning how to hula....

We also went to the beach. A lot. We loved it.

We went to Kualoa Ranch and took an ATV ride through the mountains. So pretty and fun!

They took us to a wide field where they've filmed Lost, Jurassic Park, 50 first dates, and Godzilla. This is Godzilla's footprint that Ross is in....

We also went to the Dole Plantation where B fed the fishies.

The end.

I want to go back. :)

....and I'm back!

We had the amazing oppurtunity to go to Hawaii last week! We had never been there before (and may never have a chance to go back!) and we had a blast! Brenna came along with us and she did surprisingly well. She had her moments, but she's 2. She has an excuse :)

This was the view from our villa. It was in Turtle Bay Resort and it was SO nice! I found out that the villa we were staying in belongs to Dr. Sears from the TV show 'The Dr's'. Go figure.

It rained the first couple of days we were there, but it was still really warm and nice. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center on Monday and walked around in the rain :) I'll get those pics up soon. Brenna was scared of the waves and the water at first, but by the end of our trip, she would at least stick her feet in there.

This girl LOVED the sand. It was everywhere. These pictures are from our first couple of days in Hawaii, we did a lot of fun things! Stay tuned....
