memorial day....

I love holidays. Especially when Ross has work off and gets to spend the day with us!
We thought Brenna would love playing in the fountain at the Gateway, so we spent our afternoon out and about.
We were sure that she would run right in there and love it since she LOVES water.
Nope.
She just sat back and watched all the other kids have fun....

That night we headed out to my mom's for a BBQ, then up to my dad's grave....

I don't know about you, but our little girl LOVES to be outside. Doing anything.
So we thought we'd put her to work washing the Subie.

Yesterday my dad would've turned 50. We got together and had a party.

We had the kids release balloons, since they all love them! This was the only decent shot of all 4 of them :)

Yesterday was a good day. Today has been a good day.

But my emotions come and go. It's hard to put into words the kind of dad I had. He was just such a great guy.

So we celebrated his life, and will be celebrating his legacy forever.

easter....

We had a busy Easter weekend, but it was SO fun!!

On Sunday, we went to the Wentworth's and ate dinner, had an easter egg hunt and then just played in the backyard.

Saturday we celebrated with my family. It wan non-stop fun!

Brenna's great grandma Rosser did a fun game with easter eggs that had money inside. Brenna walked away with the highest...$20. She was so excited :)
