our day....

.....was hard. And happy.
It was the one year anniversary of my dads passing. We all got together and went to sacrament meeting with my mom. It was so nice being together (Linds and the kids are in town!), laughing, crying, chasing kids, kissing babies, eating and again being together :)

After sacrament we headed up to the grave....




...where the kids let the balloons fly up to Papa.

Whoops! B's balloon pops in the tree. Don't worry, I'm sure Papa still got it :)


I want to write my thoughts and feelings about this whole experience, but I find I can't. I'm not good with words or expressing myself. Maybe someday I'll be able to without crying into my computer, or maybe I won't.
I came across this song (I can't even listen to it when it comes on the radio....cause I'll cry :) and I love the last verse.

a little bit....

...of what's been going on in our lives. Here's B at the new/old house, dancing. That is wallpaper and the old curtains on the floor....sigh. Someday it'll be done :)

We had a great Easter. We celebrated with just the Wentworth's (we're waiting for my sister Lindsey and her family to come in a couple of weeks, then we'll celebrate it with my family!) But here are pics of her showing her chocolate bunny, and then what's left of him on her face! B got some sunglassses, a sticker book, a puzzle and some bubbles. She was pretty excited about the bubbles....and the chocolate bunny considering that that's what she had for breakfast :) Yeah, we're like that around here.

Brenna.....

Brenna is in a 'Do it myself ' phase. It's been going on too long.

The joys of a 2 year old :)

She is pretty funny though! She is talking all the time now. A typical conversation with her is this:
B: "Momma, whacha doin?"

Me: "Driving the car, Brenna. What are you doing?" (or doing laundry, dishes, etc.)

B: " I drive the car, too." (or do laundry too, or do dishes too, etc.)

Here she is in her big truck. She gets in and says "I too big."
Yes. Yes you are.








She LOVES stickers. If she does something good (gets dressed, puts on shoes, whatever...) then she gets one sticker. Somehow she reached the stickers on the counter.....




And here she is in her Easter dress. I put in on her and she ran to the mirror and said "Oh, so pitty"




And trying on my shoes before church. Silly.



This kid is so fun (and exhausting :) to have around. We love her so much!

This Sunday will be our seven year anniversary. There is nobody that I'd rather have by my side than this guy. He's the best.
